  CONSOLIDATED GRAPHICS PARTNERS WITH METALFX®

MetalFX® and Consolidated Graphics have partnered to create the single largest group of licensed MetalFX® printers in the U.S. In an exciting deal with MetalFX® Technology, Consolidated Graphics has licensed its facilities, making the revolutionary metallic printing process available to customers across the United States.

MetalFX® technology is a revolutionary printing process that is used to produce hundreds of metallic colors in one pass on a printing press. This enables an unlimited choice of metallic colors, without the additional expense of producing multiple spot colors.

The MetalFX® metallic system requires only one extra ink. The MetalFX® base silver ink is printed as the first color, and then overprinted with traditional CMYK values. The transparency of the CMYK allows the high luster MetalFX base silver ink to shine through, creating a whole new spectrum of vibrant metallics.

MetalFX® technology is inspiring to designers, economical for brand owners and appealing to consumers. Metallics are no longer a high-end luxury; they are an integral part of the print world.

MetalFX® Managing Director Andrew Ainge is excited about the relationship between the two companies. "It is an honor to work closely with Consolidated Graphics in the development of MetalFX® in the U.S. market and we look forward to a prosperous and exciting future together.
I can’t wait to see the impact it will make on the design and print communities."

Aaron Grohs, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing with Consolidated Graphics believes the partnership with MetalFX® is a strategic advantage in the marketplace. "Consolidated Graphics maintains a vision of a strong, dynamic printing company that offers the economic and innovative solutions to our wide range of customers. We strive to invest in the latest technology and equipment to provide tangible benefits to our customers. MetalFX® fits into this strategy perfectly, and we are very delighted to stay ahead of the competition and offer this exciting new technology to our customers."
